In case of the insurance accident the Insured must:

1. Immediately and in any case not later than in a day notify the Insurer or its representative about the fact of the insurance accident;

2. Take all possible measures to prevent or minimize the damages and to save the insured property; if the above is not possible the Insured must request from the Insurer the instructions it must follow;

3. Allow the Insurer or its representatives examine or survey the damaged freight, investigate the causes and the size of losses, participate in the operation of minimizing losses and saving the insured freight;

4. By demand of the Insurer provide it in writing with all the information necessary for determining the size and cause of the damages or loss of the insured property;

5. Preserve the damaged freight in the form it acquired after the insurance accident, until it is examined by the Insurer or its representative. The Insured may only change the scene of the damages if it is conditioned by the reasons of safety, and minimizing the damages;

6. In case of an insurance accident with the risk “theft losses” the Insured must:

- immediately advice the respective law enforcement bodies (internal affairs authorities) about the insurance accident;

- submit to the internal affairs authorities the list of stolen property (freight).

In case of an insurance accident the Insured also must:

1. immediately notify the Insurer about all the demands made in relation to the insured accident;

2. to the possible extent assist the Insurer in judicial and extrajudicial protection if there is a claim for reimbursement of damages in relation to the insurance accident;

3. not repay reimbursement, not agree partially or completely to the demands in relation to the insurance accident, not undertake any direct or indirect obligations on settling such demands without agreement of the Insurer.
