Our health remains the most worth and the least certain value wheresoever. Its deterioration usually leads not only to anguish of body and mind but also to financial loss both for us and our family. Therefore in case of illness or casualty the most important is to recover as soon as possible. This can be ensured by quality health care and financial support in tough time especially when person is abroad limited by language barrier, funds and contacts.
This can be achieved with Treaty (policy) of voluntary insurance of liability for rendered medical (legal etc.) services when travelling abroad. At the same time you should realize that availability of mentioned policy is a precondition for obtaining foreign visa in the embassy (consulate) of the country you plan to visit and can be checked by border control authority of foreign country while crossing border with Ukraine.
IC Globus VIG covers the following risks:
1. Sudden illness of Insured person*;
2. Traumatic injury and other health decay of Insured person as a result of casualty**;
3. Should the need in legal support arise;
4. Should the need in informational support or administrative services arise.
ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMES SHOULD BE CHOSEN:
1. Programme "А 1"
1.1. Repayment of costs of hospital stay as specified in the normative adopted in the medical institution that provided health services to the Insured person.
2. Programme "А 2"
2.1. Terms of Programme "А 1".
2.2. Repayment of costs of ambulance call-out as specified in the normative adopted in the medical institution that provided health services to the Insured person.
3. Programme "А 3"
3.1. Terms of Programme "А 2".
3.2. Repayment of costs of outpatient treatment as specified in the normative adopted in the medical institution that provided health services to the Insured person.
4. Programme «В»
4.1. Terms of Programme "А 3".
4.2. Repayment of costs for third person’s visit to the place of hospital admission of Insured person abroad and back (the value of ticket in economy class is reimbursed) provided the duration of Insured person’s hospital stay exceeds 10 days and no adult member of Insured person’s family accompanies him during the travel.
4.3. Repayment of costs for arranging pre-schedule come back of Insured person in case of death of his closest relatives in Ukraine: husband/wife, children, parents (the value of ticket in economy class is reimbursed). Insurer reserves the right to use the return ticket of Insured person.
4.4. Repayment of costs for evacuation of Insured person’s children aged under 14 years that stayed under personal care of Insured person to the place of permanent residence in case of sudden illness or death of Insured person. Insurer reserves the right to use the return tickets not used by mentioned children.
4.5. Repayment of costs for evacuation of Insured person to the place of permanent residence in case of his sudden illness or death.
5. Programme "С"
5.1. Terms of Programme "В".
5.2. Repayment of costs of assistance in filing suit on protection of Insured person’s rights.
5.3. Repayment of costs of lawyer.
5.4. Repayment of costs for searching and returning lost luggage.
5.5. Repayment of costs of transmitting urgent messages.
5.6. Repayment of costs of assistance in replacement of lost or stolen documents (up to 200 EUR).
6. Programme "D"
6.1. Costs stated in Programme “C” are repaid but insurance sum in Programme “D” amounts to 50000 and 75000 EUR.
Remarks:
* Urgent illness means sharp health deterioration of Insured person due to unexpected illness that endanger life and health of Insured person and requires urgent medical intervention.
**Casualty means sudden short-term event that resulted in Insured person’s death or traumatic injury or other health decay that endangers life and health of Insured person and requires urgent medical intervention.
