When a vehicle registered in Ukraine leaves for the European Union or other countries-members of the international system of motor insurance “Green Card”, so the owner of such a vehicle is obliged to have a valid Green Card policy formed for that vehicle (without such a policy a vehicle will not be allowed to the territory of EU by custom service of the border country).
Green Card foresees the insurance of the liability of a driver, indicated in insurance policy for harm that can be caused to life or health of third party via car accident on the territory of the European Union and other countries-members of the international system of motor insurance “Green Card” where an insured vehicle from another country has been driving.
